Service description
The swimming pool of the sports complex Syrets has three lanes 25 m long. Its depth varies from 1.5 m to 4 m. The water temperature is maintained at 27 C.
Water disinfection is carried out by ozonation. Ozone, obtained from atmospheric oxygen, kills all possible bacteria and viruses in water, and also destroys organic compounds by oxidizing them. As a result of such treatment, the water becomes crystal clear with a bluish tint. In addition, there is no smell of chlorine-containing preparations that accompanies the classic treatment of water with sodium hypochlorite.
Visitors can use a trampoline, a slide for children, water cannons and an underwater high-pressure massage.
Aqua aerobics is the practice of exercising in water, both with and without additional equipment. The popularity of this type of training is due to the fact that it is more difficult to exercise in water than on land, due to the need to overcome water resistance. According to some trainers, working on the body in an aquatic environment is more effective than on land.
Aqua aerobics classes are held in groups, with active music. Movements are performed with arms, legs, waist twists, buttock rotations, that is, almost all muscle groups are involved. In order to increase the load, special gloves, aqua belts, dumbbells, noodles and other sports equipment are used.
