Churches and cathedrals St. Andrew's Church

One of the most beautiful churches in Kyiv! Worth the walk to the top and then stroll down and people watch and buy souvenirs. You cannot enter the church since it’s in disrepair but the views are stunning!

Situata su una collinetta, di un bell'azzurro, ricca di cupole, la chiesa domina la città bassa(Podil).Narra la leggenda che, dopo la sua costruzione, sotto l'altare comparve una sorgente, si decise di non mettere delle campane perché il loro suono avrebbe potuto risvegliare l'acqua e la città sarebbe stata inondata.L'interno al momento non è visitabile. Con una modica cifra si può salire la scalinata e dal terrazzo si ha una splendida vista di Kiev

A very impressive site despite only being able to walk around the concourse at present as the church is being renovated. Don’t miss the statue near the ticket office or the art stalls behind which you will see from your walk around the site.

残念ながら改修工事で中には入れなかった。外観を眺めるのみだがキエフの教会はどれもとても可愛らしく、美しい色合いをしている。

Walked past quickly during a free tour. Loved the stalls and traditional markets along the street. Perfect for experiencing culture and tourism.

Cerkiew znajduje się na wzgórzu, obecnie w stanie renowacji. Składa się z głównej kopuły i 4 mniejszych wieżyczek. Najlepiej dojechać tam Metrem i wysiąść na stacji Poshtova ploshcha (Поштова площа). Niedaleko cerkwii znajduje się Muzeum Narodowe Historii Ukrainy.

One of the most beautiful churches I have seen, it's located on a small hill in Kiev and you should do yourself a favor and visit it.

Visible desde muchos lugares su posición elevada la convierte en francamente atractiva. No se podía visitar por obras, pero sí era accesible la terraza que tiene alrededor desde donde las vistas son formidables.

Ottima opera d'arte en plein air, adagiata su un piccolo poggio. Peccato che l'interno non sia visitabile in quanto ancora in restauro. Bellissima con il suo colore verde azzurro brillante e le sue cupole con fregi dorati. La stradina in salita che conduce all'entrata, richiama un po' l' arondissement di Montmartre a Paris. E anche qui troviamo tele esposte di pittori ucraini.

Deze kerk wordt momenteel gerestaureerd waardoor je hem niet van binnen kunt zien. Van buiten is deze kerk prachtig gelegen, aan het begin (of eind) van de Andriyivski Uzviz. Tegen een geringe vergoeding kun je wel rond de kerk lopen waarvan je een mooi uitzicht hebt.
