About company Literary and Memorial Museum of Mikhail Bulgakov
The Literary and Memorial Museum of Mikhail Afanasevich Bulgakov was opened in his homeland in Kiev in 1989. The museum’s collection today has about 3 thousand exhibits, 500 of which belonged to the writer himself. During the existence of the museum, the collection has grown more than 10 times. The museum is located in a house well known to Bulgakov's readers based on the novel The White Guard. The novel describes 51 days from the life of an intelligent family during the civil war in Ukraine. Bulgakov “settled” his heroes of the Turbins where he lived during the same events - in house No. 13 on Andriyivskyy Descent.

Литературный дом-музей Булгакова... Люблю посещать вот такие небольшие, атмосферные музеи. Они пропитаны каким-то особым духом, чувствуется невероятная загадочность и таинственность. Кажется, что хозяева вышли на минутку и скоро вернуться. Булгаков прожил в этом доме много лет. В экспозиции фотографии, вещи, принадлежавших семье и Булгакову лично, документы, книги.
