Description of the amusement park «Winter Country»

Every winter, a huge amusement park at VDNKh opens its doors to visitors. The creators of Winterland have prepared many wonderful locations and unique exhibitions, where everyone will find something for themselves.

Locations of «Winter Country» on VDNG

Everyone would like to visit the residence of St. Nicholas. In the «Winter Country» at VDNKh the best Ukrainian decorators created an unusual and mysterious house of a fairy-tale hero. Inside, the residence is equipped so that all young guests and their parents feel interesting and comfortable.

If you're looking for gifts for friends and family, check out the fair or Christmas food court. These places contain everything you might need for the winter holidays: decorations, sparklers, candles for the Christmas table, souvenirs, jewelry, decorative cosmetics, children's toys, sweets and much more.

Here you can see the majestic Snow Queen’s castle with walls 25 meters long and 3.5 meters high, stroll through the blooming ice garden and experience a real winter fairy tale.

The VDNH greenhouse is a beautiful and unique place. Here is a unique collection of plants, many of which were planted more than 60 years ago. Here you can also drink coffee, listen to an audio tour, do a photo shoot and even organize a romantic date.

There is also a studio for decorative plants, Kitchen&Garden, at VDNKh. The studio has its own facilities for growing aromatic herbs, flower and vegetable seedlings.

You can feel like a real musician and play guitar, bass, drums or keyboard instruments in the Museum of Guitars - the first interactive museum of musical instruments in Ukraine.

Listen to the sound of wood and metal, play a musical instrument and even study the human body - now all this can be done at the Science Museum of the MAN.

If you love ice skating, you won’t miss the skating rink in the Winter Country at VDNKh. In the evenings, colorful lights will light up above the skating rink, which will add a romantic mood to those skating.

Drive slides are a descent on inflatable tubes that will provide a soft landing, and artificial turf instead of snow will give the necessary acceleration. This entertainment is perfect for both children and adults.

Extreme attractions are a special place where everyone can return to childhood and feel joy, forgetting about everyday worries. This park is ideal for a family holiday, as everyone will find something interesting for themselves.

Illuminarium. The Magic of Light is an illuminated park of metal installations with LED backlighting. Fairytale animals, mythical characters, magical trees and abstractions up to 7 meters high.

Questmania features exciting quests, themed props, a huge arsenal of board games and your own party room for unforgettable parties of any format.

The exhibition Dinoworld is an exposition of prehistoric creatures that lived on our planet millions of years ago. All exhibits are made to full height, they growl and move just like real ones.

When you enter the spherical cinema TELEPORT360 you are immersed in a new world, because the image is broadcast 360 degrees around the viewer. Such a spectacle is possible thanks to the latest modern projection system.

During the work of Winter Country at VDNKh you will be able to see the following films: Polaris, We are Stars, We are All Astronauts, Cage! Cell! The Cage!, We Are All Aliens, and Astronaut.

The Animal Park petting zoo is a place where your child can get acquainted with the world of wildlife. Here you have the opportunity not only to see exotic animals, but to hold them in your hands, stroke them or feed them with special food.

Necessarily   take a look inside the Upside Down House! This is a unique attraction - here you will find yourself inside a house where everything is turned upside down! And the furniture and household items are on the ceiling, and it seems to you that you are standing on your head.

For coffee lovers and sweet lovers, there is an atmospheric coffee shop called Kaminsky's bakery . Or you can stop by Bubble Waffle and try the legendary Hong Kong waffles. Well, where would we be without real Italian pizza - pizzeria Babak will be happy to treat you.

The Small Entertainment Zone is an amusement park for children and adults: beautiful carousels, bright toy cars and much more.
