A restaurant Old Zaporozhye

Going down Sagaidachnogo street on Autumn evening, I noticed that the large terrace was unlit. And that the restaurant itself was closed.Mixed reviews from previous visitors probably close to the mark.The restaurant was on the pricey side by Kyiv standards. The food was not always good.And so, that may have contributed to its demise.Since then, it has reopened as a Georgian place (December 2017) and has had a second remake as a Khachapuri & Vino outlet (a chain of Georgian places in Kyiv).I hope they have found their price level. It's a good location.But I will miss the excellent Chicken Kiev..

Не много можно рассказать, Все на уровне, но без изюминки. Но качественно, вкусно, пьяно.. Персонал хорошо подготовлен.

Кухня отличная, обстановка очень уютная, персонал обходительный. Понравилось все

В центре города, в историческом здании, в которм ресторан был основан и работал без перерыва. Отличное обслуживание. Вкусная еда. Особенно вкусный грибной крем суп, хачапури, и панакота.

В моем списке, этот ресторан относится к таким, куда меня почему-то приглашают, наверное из-за статусности, места и узнаваемости. Уровневый ресторан, где можно назначить достойные переговоры. Самостоятельно я его не посещаю, просто на подоле, много более интересных заведений. Все отлично, очень крепко, но нет изюминки, души. Этот ресторан был подарен Киеву на 1500 летие, от города Запорожье. Спасибо Запорожье.

My friend and I had a wonderful experience here! The food, service and atmosphere were excellent! We had beer and vodka. We also tried borscht, vareniki, chicken kiev and a tasty dessert. Everything was delicious! It was also great value for money.

Персонал вежливый, красивый дизайн ресторана. Но немного беспокоил запах в ресторане (возможно, были проблемы с канализацией в тот период). Кухня средняя. Место не молодежное.

On m'avait mis en garde sur certains restaurants "attrape touristes, je me suis donc référé à l'expérience de mon amie. Nous y avons mangé 2 fois en 3 jours. Vu de l'extérieur, l'établissement ne paye pas de mine, dîner sur la terrasse couverte sublime, déjeuner dans la salle climatisée au 1er étage exceptionnel, quant au cadre, je n'ai pas assez de superlatifs. La qualité de la nourriture et des plats est remarquable, le service parfait et compétent, très serviable et prévoyant avec les enfants ( ils apportent une grosse boîte avec des jeux et des coloriages). Étant de la profession, je sais de quoi je parle. Si j'avais eu la possibilité de mettre 6 étoiles sur 5, je l'aurais fait sans hésiter. Merci pour ces fabuleux moments.

Early evening dinner at 1800hrs, only customers. Well decorated and stylish. Opted for shared multi-fish based platter. Good fresh fish, but phew! Very expensive even by Western European standards. Not exactly good value as good food can be purchased for less at otherestablishment. One pays for the style here I think.
