Muromets Park - the legendary beauty of nature

Muromets Park is located between the right and left banks of Kyiv. Since 1972, this natural area has been delighting visitors with beautiful scenery and is a great place to have a good time. The origin of the name of the park is connected with the memorial garden, in which 15 species of various plants were planted as symbols of friendship between the republics of the USSR.

The park is located in the Chertoroi tract, which was previously called Vigurovshchina. At first, there was only a beach and a pier for a river tram, but now, after the annexation of Muromets Island, the park area reaches 800 hectares.

This area has a rich history going back centuries. Muromets is the largest sandy island in Kyiv, which was formed as a result of alluvium flows of the Dnieper and Desenka rivers. There are several legends associated with its name. One of them speaks of ancient times, when knights settled here, waiting for a meeting with Prince Vladimir. Another legend tells about the heroic glory of Ilya Muromets, who defended the Chertoraya tract from terrible evil spirits.

Those who like to tickle their nerves will like X-Park , where the list of services will cover a variety of hobbies from boxing lessons to surfing. The playground in the paintball club "Planet" will give unforgettable positive emotions from the team competition, and in the cycling club "PARTYZAN" you are offered to rent a scooter, boat, kayak or catamaran to enjoy the trip on the water.

Muromets Park provides places where you can play mini-golf and table tennis . There are all conditions for a full-fledged practice of kiting and kitesurfing.
