iForum: Ukrainian forum of IT-specialists

iForum is Ukraine’s largest offline conference of businessmen in the field of IT industry, primarily related to the development of the Internet.

The forum of Internet professionals began in 2009, when a group of enthusiasts managed to bring together over a thousand people. Every year the number of participants increases.

Conference format

Within the framework of iForum, traditional speeches of speakers are held, exhibitions and additional events of relevant topics are organized. The format of the event involves direct live communication of the conference participants, including a cup of coffee.

The reports are divided into four main streams, under each of which there is a separate, extensive conference room. Another fifth stream is expected in the form of chamber discussions in smaller rooms, which take place simultaneously with the main ones. Forum participants can move between rooms to listen to various reports on topics of interest.

IForum program and directions

The conference program is composed by the Organizing Committee, which includes experts in all the presented areas of Internet activity. They select the most relevant questions for the participants and divide them into streams.

So, in 2016 in the iFofum program there are five directions / flows:

• Internet business and startups (Digital digital trends, mobile business, Big Data collection and analysis, Internet devices, the legal side of creating companies, Ukrainian startups entering the European and American markets, attracting investments, etc.);
• advertising and promotion (Internet marketing opportunities, automation of network advertising, analytics of its effectiveness, content marketing, etc.);
• SVOD Europe Conference / iCity / Smart Cities Forum (the English stream, in which meetings of Internet businessmen with investors and analysts from Europe and the United States of America are held, the issues of building large companies from scratch are covered, the concepts of a “smart city” are considered, etc.) ;
• Internet technologies (cloud technologies, new JavaScript, the choice of a platform for writing a startup, etc.);
• education in the information age (new standards, formal and informal approaches, training for different age groups, IT-education);
• an exhibition demonstrating the capabilities of the “smart cities” of the future, etc.
