How exactly can vision diagnostics be carried out to ensure the presence or absence of potential diseases? In this regard, the following list can be highlighted:
- The diagnostics can take from 40 to 90 minutes. It depends on the patient's character and complaints, age and other factors.
- During the examination, visual acuity and refraction are determined. The eyes are examined using a microscope designed for this purpose.
- The fundus of the eye is carefully examined and studied.
- The condition of the retina and optic nerve is checked when the pupil is narrow or dilated.
- Based on the obtained indicators, a study is conducted of the visual field, the condition of the anterior corner of the eye.
