The play The Edge of Heaven or the Road to Eternity of Vasyl Symonenko is a dramatic poetic fantasy dedicated to the life and work of Vasyl Symonenko, his subtle sense of language, soul and pain of Ukraine during the occupation of the Soviet power, which even after the collapse pursued the goal of destroying the Ukrainian people and identity, which eventually led to a real and terrible war.
The play, as a social project, is aimed at supporting the awareness of national consciousness, which is extremely important today, using examples of real heroes of our culture, one of whom is Simonenko, whose work has still not been sufficiently appreciated.
