Solotvyno is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the Transcarpathian region. Solotvyno Lakes are rightly called an analogue of the Dead Sea in Ukraine. Every year tourists come here from all over Ukraine and from abroad to have the opportunity to relax near the famous salt lakes.
But 2022-2024 are special.
All Ukrainians are united by one goal - to defeat the enemy. The vast majority of citizens have no time for rest. Most tourists and hotel owners decided to postpone the holiday season until after the end of the war.
But there are Ukrainians who simply need to restore their physical and psychological health, to take their children away from daily explosions and endless sirens.
It is for them that this health and educational tour to Solotvino was created. The water of the salt lakes of Solotvyno is similar in its healing properties to the waters of the Dead Sea. The first lake appeared several decades ago on the site of the Kunikunda mine, which worked out its life in the last century. Over time, the area of reservoirs at the site of soil subsidence has increased and currently reaches almost 10 hectares. The water in these lakes is very salty (30-32 g/l) and is useful for treating diseases of the nervous system, radiculitis, pleurisy, arthritis, and skin diseases. Local mud has a positive effect in the treatment of the cardiovascular system, residual effects of phlebitis, thrombophlebitis, movement organs, nervous system, urological diseases, psoriasis, etc. In addition to the famous lakes, Solotvyno also has equally famous salt mines. People come there to be treated for asthma, tuberculosis and other respiratory diseases.
What is included in the price of the certificate?
- Round trip transfer only for selected certificates (by comfortable bus or minibus): Kyiv-Zhitomir-Solotvino-Zhitomir-Kyiv.
- Accommodation in rooms of the selected category at the Bolshaya Tisa recreation center. A wooden three-story base with everything you need for a good rest. The base offers standard and luxury rooms. On the territory there are: 4 heated swimming pools (2 with salt water and 2 with fresh water), jacuzzi, gazebos, barbecues, children's playground, restaurant, kitchen for self-cooking (dishes), satellite TV, Wi-Fi. Rooms are 2-3-4-bed with all amenities. Standard rooms differ from luxury rooms in the size of the room; standard rooms are in a log house; luxury rooms are in European style (built in 2022).

Tour program
- 18:30 - group meeting in Kyiv, Zhitomirskaya metro station (INFINITI car dealership). Departure every Friday.
- 20:30 - group gathering in Zhitomir gas station BRSM (opposite the bus station).
- 21:00 - departure.
The first day:
- Arrival in Solotvino.
- Accommodation of tourists in hotels, recreation centers (check-in to rooms occurs from 14:00).
Days two to five:
- Relaxing on the shore of a reservoir to improve the condition of the cardiovascular, nervous and reproductive systems. On hot days, the water warms up to 25-27 degrees Celsius. This allows you to take salt baths and perform mud wraps in the open air in comfortable conditions.
- Children can happily splash in the water even without life preservers (it is not advisable for it to come into contact with the eyes, because they begin to sting very much). The surprising thing is that some salt lakes are located quite close to fresh rivers. So the advantage is obvious - everyone who has swum in salt water goes to rinse off in fresh water. Interestingly, the underground channels of the two reservoirs do not mix. There are also iodized lakes in Solotvyno. However, not everyone can benefit from swimming there, because radon is not beneficial for everyone.
Day six:
- Check-out from the rooms and departure for the excursion.
Excursions to choose from:
- Geographical center of Europe (kolyba-museum).
- Trufanets waterfall.
- Brewery CIPA.
- Valley of Peppers.
- Yaremche (Probiy waterfall, souvenir market).
- 17:00 - departure to Zhitomir and Kyiv.
