Vision diagnostics and selection of glasses and lenses for children and adults at MonoОptica

A complete vision diagnostic includes:

• Visiometry (visual acuity test) - allows you to evaluate your vision as a percentage (how many percent a person sees). Allows you to determine whether you need glasses or contact lenses.
• Autorefractometry (computer diagnostics) - this type of examination will show changes in vision in diopters, whether you have a disorder that will allow you to write a prescription for glasses or soft contact lenses.
• Binocular vision test – allows you to evaluate the nature of vision of both eyes and select a correction according to visual loads.
• Diagnostics of accommodation reserves will help determine how correctly your glasses are chosen and eliminate the difficulty of focusing your eyes at close distances.
• Biomicroscopy (microscopy of the living eye) is a detailed study of the structures of the eye, carried out using a special optical device - a slit lamp, this allows you to examine in detail the conjunctiva, cornea, iris, anterior chamber of the eye, lens, vitreous body, as well as the central parts of the fundus.
• Ophthalmoscopy - examination of the fundus of the eye, will allow us to determine deeper disorders and changes in the retina, blood vessels, optic disc, etc.
• Consultation with an ophthalmologist - the doctor will tell you what changes have been detected and what needs to be done, techniques that will help stop the development of myopia, farsightedness, astigmatism, and will recommend optical and contact lenses to improve vision.
• A pediatric ophthalmologist will determine the child’s accommodation reserves, check visual acuity, use optometric tests to assess the need for glasses and lenses, and conduct an examination of the fundus and retina.
• If a child’s myopia is rapidly increasing, the doctor will prescribe an optical lens of the latest generation, which has no analogues in Ukraine, to control myopia (myopia) produced in Germany by Rodenstock, which will stop the rapid decline in vision even at high refractions.
