Ticket to the Play «Green Corridors» at the Playwrights' Theater 14.04 and 27.04

A play about four refugees from Ukraine after a full-scale invasion, about their involuntary European integration. An attempt to analyze Ukraine’s relations with the EU, to reflect on the traumatic experience of refugee, loss and relationship with home. The play was written by order of the Kamerspiele Theater in Munich with the hope of reaching the German audience on Ukrainian issues, pitting Germans and Ukrainians against each other for a frank conversation. A play with elements of the absurd and dark humor - using these means allows me to step back and be more ruthless with my characters. That’s why Ukrainians in my play are not victims. Oleksa Gladushevsky's production is a social satire, sometimes harsh, sometimes shocking. Oleksa's performance is radically different from previous productions of this text. Unexpected casting and a brazen director's concept turn the play on its head without losing the author's intention, but on the contrary, expanding the possibilities of the text.
