A one-day excursion trip from Kyiv to the Chernigov region to the northern capital of Ukraine, filled with mystical stories, legends and ancient historical sights, with a visit to the main residence of the noble family of Lizogub in Sednev.

Excursion tour program
- 07:45 – meeting of tourists in Kyiv near the Chernigovskaya metro station.
- 08:00 – departure from Kyiv.
- Moving to one of the largest and oldest cities in Ukraine. Chernigov is famous for its ancient temples and cathedrals, the stories of which are still full of secrets and mysteries. Modern Chernigov has combined the grandeur of ancient temples and the comfort of city parks. And after the Russian attack on Ukraine, it became one of the symbols of the invincibility of the Ukrainian spirit and the Ukrainian army.
- 10:00 – start of the excursion. During the excursion you will stroll through the cozy city center and visit ancient temples from the 11th-12th centuries. Take a walk along the city rampart of Chernigov. You will see: the Transfiguration Cathedral, Boris and Gleb Cathedral, the house of the regimental chancellery, the Pyatnitskaya Church, the Black Tomb mound, the Trinity-Ilyinsky Monastery. Immerse yourself in the city's stories and legends. Descend into the Anthony Caves - a monument of underground religious architecture of the 11th-19th centuries. A combination of ancient and modern history awaits you.
- 14:30-15:30 – delicious lunch (optional, paid extra).
- 16:30 – optional excursion to Sednev. Ancient Sednev is located 25 km north of Chernigov. One of the main highlights of the city is the ancient St. George (Yuryevskaya) Church, built in pre-Mongol times. People call the St. George Church Vievskaya, because it was here that the film Viy based on the mystical work of Nikolai Gogol was filmed.
- The Church of the Resurrection is the tomb of the Lizogub family, built in 1690, a small miracle of Ukrainian Baroque.

- 21:30 – return to Kyiv.
