The fractional laser resurfacing procedure involves the laser beam penetrating into the deep layers of the dermis through a special fractional lattice. Thanks to it, the laser beam is divided into hundreds of small fractions (fragments), thus precisely affecting the skin and preventing excessive damage. In response to thermal laser exposure, regenerative resources are activated in the dermis and epidermis: cells are actively dividing, the concentration of elastin and collagen increases, a new muscle frame is formed, and tissue lifting is observed.

In other words, the laser beam evaporates the upper keratinized layer of the epidermis along with pigmentation, wrinkles, scars, and uneven terrain. In parallel with this, in the dermis it activates the synthesis of collagen and elastin, which are responsible for the firmness, elasticity and youth of the skin.

Indications for the procedure:

• Scars, including post-acne scars.
• Hyperpigmentation.
• Reduced facial skin turgor, sagging, ptosis.
• Fine and deep wrinkles, folds, creases, uneven skin texture.
• Drooping upper eyelids and drooping lower eyelids.

Contraindications to laser resurfacing:

Procedure process:

Fractional laser facial resurfacing is virtually painless. If the patient is hypersensitive, the procedure can be performed under local anesthesia. A numbing cream may be applied to the selected area. The doctor and patient wear special protective glasses during grinding. The laser handpiece (tip) directs the beam to the problem area and precisely treats it according to the specified parameters.

Rehabilitation period:

The first two days after resurfacing, active redness and swelling are observed on the skin. After 2-3 days, a light brown crust forms on the surface of the skin, which peels off on its own by 5-7 days. In the first 2-3 weeks, you should use sunscreen with a protection factor of at least SPF 50 before each time you go outside. It is recommended to avoid visiting the sauna, bathhouse and swimming pool for 2 weeks.
