Christmas tour in Transcarpathia from the travel company Miracle Travels

• 19:00 - tourists boarding in Kyiv (Zhitomirskaya metro station).
• 20:30 - group gathering in Zhitomir (gas station BRSM, central bus station).
• 21:30 - tourists boarding in Zvyagele (district).
• 23:00 - tourists boarding in Rivne (district, hotel Ivanhoe or Khutorok).

• 07:00 – arrival in Volovets (a small village located at the foot of the Ukrainian Carpathians - the Play and Temnatyk mountains: beautiful scenery, clean healing mountain air).
• Upon arrival, the group checks into the private hotel Greenwich, equipped in the best traditions of Transcarpathia with cozy rooms of a European level.
• The hotel is located near the picturesque Synevyr Lake and the Shipot waterfall, in the valley of the Vicha and Volovchik rivers at the foot of the Temnatik and Play peaks, at an altitude of about 500 meters above sea level. The beautiful view of the mixed forest and the Carpathians gives this hotel a special charm. The Podobovets and Pylypets ski lifts are also nearby.

• Departure for an excursion: ski resort Pylypets – ascent on a panoramic lift to the observation deck of Mount Gimba (1491 m); the unique Shipot waterfall is one of the most full-flowing and beautiful waterfalls not only in Transcarpathia, but throughout Ukraine; a sample of mineral water from a deposit of ferruginous mineral waters near the village of Kelechin.
• In the village of Kelechin there are three mineral springs, and their mineral water is distinguished by its original, pronounced taste and color - bright orange. A wonderful sight - mineral water flows into the stream and turns it orange!
• After the excursion, the group of tourists returns to the hotel.
• Christmas Eve (pre-holiday day), as in the old days, costumed carolers go from house to house, singing. Christmas Eve! (On the last day of Lent there are 12 lenten dishes on the table - dinner on Christmas Eve should be non-alcoholic and lenten! (But your hospitable hosts will make an exception for you).

• The Christmas tour of Transcarpathia continues with a visit to the Schönborn Castle palace-estate.
• This elegant hunting castle of the Counts of Schönborn can easily be included in the list of outstanding architectural structures in Ukraine. In addition to the history of the construction of this elegant castle, the design of which is based on the astronomical year, you will hear several love stories that its walls remember and have been passed on from mouth to mouth for many decades.
• Since 1946, the clinical sanatorium Karpaty was opened on the territory of the estate, where cardiovascular diseases are treated. There is a pump room with mineral water Polyana Kupel. The building of the Schönborn Palace is currently one of the buildings of the sanatorium. Below the road there is the railway station Sanatorium Karpaty, made in the same romantic style as the palace.
• The next stage of the excursion program is the thermal waters of the swimming pools of the Zhavoronok health complex, known throughout Ukraine for their healing properties, as they contain a variety of minerals and trace elements. The whole secret is that the water that fills the complex’s pools comes directly from wells 1200 m deep. That is, it is not subjected to technical or chemical treatment. And, thanks to this, guests of the complex can feel the healing power of thermal water. The hot waters of the complex come from magmatic intrusions in areas of active volcanic terrain, which the Beregovo region is rich in.
• When entering the thermal pools, the water has a temperature of 56-58°C, so it does not require special heating, but, on the contrary, is cooled to a comfortable temperature. Only thermal water extracted from underground is transparent, but when interacting with oxygen it acquires a brown, rusty color. The specific smell of thermal water is due to the presence of hydrogen sulfide in its composition, which, when reaching the surface, oxidizes and immediately decomposes.
• Zhavoronok is a unique, modern and comfortable recreation complex, on the territory of which there is the only indoor thermal pool in Ukraine.
• On the territory of the Zhavoronok complex there is a unique indoor swimming pool with thermal water. Guests are invited to visit the jacuzzi, fish peeling (peeling with Garra Rufa fish), sauna, salt room, spa services. Pump room with thermal water.
• The water has the properties of silicon-nitrogen-carbon dioxide-chloride-sodium with high mineralization. Similar gifts of nature are found only in New Zealand, Iceland, Kamchatka and Sakhalin. But it is either very warm or very cold there. And they, as they say, are at the ends of the earth. And we are in the very center of Europe! Our climate is favorable at any time of the year!
• On the Transcarpathian tour, a mandatory point of the program is the tasting of unsurpassed Transcarpathian wine, which is offered by the private wine cellar of Uncle Vasya (Berehove) or the tasting room of the Urst family of winemakers. Here, in a small cozy room, you will taste wines from the best grape varieties of Beregovshchina according to individual recipes. Local experts will tell you the history of their wines and answer your questions. In general, the winery has a very warm, cozy atmosphere.

• You will spend the last day of the tour on the slopes of the snow-capped peaks of the Play ski complex: skiing, sledding, and snowboarding.
• 14:00-15:00. departure to Lviv (depending on weather conditions).
• 19:00-22:00 - free time.
• Plunge into the evening life of this amazing city and admire its fabulous architecture. You will give yourself an unforgettable experience from visiting colorful and already famous establishments of the old city such as Kriivka, Anti-crisis Kneipa, Under the Blue Dance, Gasova Lampa.
• We should also not forget that today Christmas is one of the most important Orthodox holidays. In Lviv, you can take part in street theatrical performances - nativity scenes, where they show the story of the birth of Jesus Christ.
• After you are charged with Christmas energy, frosty cheerfulness, and a good mood, you will say goodbye to the hospitable Transcarpathia and go home.
