The International Star Catalog was founded in 1964 on the basis of scientific discoveries and research of the Golitsyno-2 Institute. This is a unique electronic catalog compiled on the basis of observations of the extra-atmospheric study of cosmic bodies discovered by photographing and video filming by astronaut German Stepanovich Titov during his historic flight on August 6, 1961. The founder of the catalog on the basis of historical and legal intellectual rights was German Titov, chairman of the Russian Federation of Cosmonautics. Based on the information included in the catalog, on 06.12.1999, the United Nations adopted a resolution - Space belongs to everyone.
The fact of assigning a name to a star is confirmed by an official certificate developed and approved in 1996 by the Chairman of the Federation of Cosmonautics Herman Titov. Famous politicians, scientists, artists, actors, singers and the leadership of the Vatican have used the services of the organization for naming the star in different years.
