SMAS lifting is an effective non-invasive (without skin damage) cosmetic technique, which is a real alternative to surgical skin tightening. The procedure is indicated already at the first signs of gravitational ptosis: a decrease in tissue density, sagging cheeks, an indistinct oval of the face, smoothness of the cheekbones, and a double chin. The physical content of the procedure consists in the focused action of ultrasound on certain areas of the muscular-aponeurotic plate of the face. Under the influence of a directed beam of ultrasound, the tendon plate is heated in small (point) areas to a temperature of 65-70 degrees Celsius, which leads to fragmentary coagulation of proteins. Protein coagulation leads to a decrease in the volume of the stretched tendon plate and its contraction. The depth of action is about 8-13 mm, it is strictly controlled by a specialist. The procedure does not affect the surface of the skin, does not change it in any way.
