The research is carried out in two stages:

1st step: please schedule a time of 40-60 minutes for thyroid ultrasound and abdominal ultrasound with a protocol **.

1. The study is carried out strictly on an empty stomach: within 12 hours before the ultrasound, the intake of any food and liquid is completely excluded.

2. Within two to three days before the study, preliminary preparation is desirable to improve the quality of visualization - a cell-free diet in order to reduce gas formation in the intestine, it is also recommended to take:

• simethicone preparations (espumisan 2 capsules 3 times a day or analogs);
• enzyme preparations (mezim-forte 1 tab. 3 times a day or analogs);
• lactulose preparations (dufalak, normase - in an age dosage).

3. On the eve of the study - bowel cleansing is mandatory. If independent stool is difficult - it is recommended to set up a cleansing enema - but not on the day of the ultrasound!

Stage 2: Transabdominal urological and gynecological ultrasound examinations require a full bladder, please discuss with the administrator the date and time of an additional visit to the medical center, or schedule at least 60 minutes for your bladder to be filled. Directly urological or gynecological ultrasound examinations will also take up to 40 minutes with a protocol.

** - it is not necessary to wait for the registration of the research protocol, it is possible to receive it after the 2nd stage.
