Three newborns die every day due to heart disease in Ukraine. About 5,500 thousand children with congenital heart defects are born in Ukraine every year, among these 600 children can be saved even without a chest incision! To do this, you just need to install heart implants for them!

Congenital heart disease in our country sounds like a sentence. Especially when the sum of almost 100,000 hryvnia for a heart implant - ocluder separates from salvation. For a simple Ukrainian family, these are enormous sums, sick children, grief-stricken parents.

At the National Institute. Amosova, professional cardiac surgeons, behind whose shoulders thousands of saved hearts, have been doing free of charge operations to eliminate heart defects since 2013. But they are powerless without implants, and this year the state simply threw out the program to save children with congenital heart defects from the funding budget. Heart implants are simply not purchased. All children who need surgery in 2021 will not be able to get help and a chance for a healthy life.

This year we must save everyone! 600 children were on the brink. Their parents do not know where to get funds for heart implants. These are ordinary families who find themselves on the verge of poverty.
Our goal is ambitious. To unite all people around a problem that the state cannot solve, and to collect over 40,000,000 hryvnias!
We want to give healthy hearts to 600 children from all over Ukraine.
Each hryvnia that you donate to this project will help us save all children living with congenital heart defects and require heart implants.

How is endovascular surgery performed?

Placement of occluders is an innovative method that, unlike open heart surgery, does not require cutting the chest in order to perform surgery, and then long rehabilitation. The child does not stop the heart, hypoxia and loss of work of the brain particles are excluded. These are absolutely safe and modern operations, our cardiosurgeons of the Amosov Institute sometimes do 11 a day. The operation to install the implant lasts only a few hours, and after two days the child returns home to his usual life.
