Service description
Veneers are microprostheses that differ from crowns in that they are installed only on the front (outer) side of the teeth. They have several varieties according to the materials from which they are made (composite, ceramic, lumineers).
Unlike crowns, veneers do not cover the entire tooth, but only the anterior surface and incisal edge. The thickness of the veneers is 0.5-0.6 mm, which is about twice as thick as an eggshell. Ceramic veneer is a thin, high-quality ceramic veneer with a thickness of approximately 0.3 - 0.5 mm. The microprosthesis is fixed to the external tooth surface using special cement. Veneers correct the color, shape and slight curvature of the teeth, treme and diastema, as well as crowding.
Composite veneers are a cheaper alternative to ceramic veneers. Composite veneers are thin veneers that are applied to the anterior surface of the tooth. Such veneers are made from the same materials as fillings - a light-polymer composite. These veneers are durable, easy to adjust and take one visit to the dentist.
