Когда зайдет солнце на берегу романтического озера Красавица, обильно украшенные белыми лилиями и желтым кувшинками, изумрудным татаринням, папоротником и девичьим виноградом, казаки и девушки-казачки разожгут огромное костер, пламя которого при начале достигать трехэтажного дома ...
Как свидетельствуют древние предания, у колдобины (утечки) озера из которого и берет начало река Лыбидь - именно в том волшебном урочище, где располагается «Мамаева Слобода» в 1756 году казацко-гайдамацкий отряд утопил аж два бочонка с золотыми червонцами и драгоценностями ... Именно здесь, в калиновых рощах на «Мамаевой Слободе» растет знаменитая в знахарских кругах «Терлич-трава» без которой невозможно найти цветок папоротника.
Напоминаем, что Казацкий поселок «Мамаева Слобода» располагается в живописном урочище - именно там, где находится исток легендарной реки Лыбидь. А это, всего лишь семь километров от Крещатика, практически в центре Киева.
