Theater 19 is a Kharkov non-state theater, which was born thanks to a group of students from the acting and directing departments of the Theater Department of the Kharkov Institute of Arts, and already in June 2000 the first performance was shown by the students. After 2 years of its activity, the play «Pavel I» staged by the theater became the winner of the All-Ukrainian Festival of Contemporary Art in Kiev and was highly appreciated by authoritative theater critics.
Theater «Teatr 19» is constantly developing, improving and staging new performances.
