Sketching is a modern and popular type of drawing.
Sketching is a technique for quickly creating simple drawings and visual notes - sketches - that help you quickly, efficiently, beautifully and coolly transfer your ideas and impressions from your head to paper.
With the help of sketching, architects, designers and artists create sketches of buildings, interiors and surrounding objects, students visualize the main ideas of the lectures in order to better remember them, and managers use them as an auxiliary tool when setting tasks for subordinates: designers, layout designers, advertisers, architects.

Genres of modern sketching:

• Travel sketching is travel sketches in the form of notes, sketches, maps, capturing memorable events during travel. In this direction of sketching, it is not necessary to use the laws of perspective, and sometimes they are deliberately violated. Distortion of the shape is possible. They convey the atmosphere and mood when traveling or traveling. Travel sketching usually combines all types of sketch illustrations from food sketching to industrial sketching, because while traveling we are surrounded by new objects, cities and countries (architecture), objects. Travel sketches are also often supplemented with various text descriptions.
  
  
• Industrial (industrial) sketching - drawings of equipment and surrounding objects, bright ideas and concepts in the field of industrial design, sketches and illustrations of the design of various objects of our life and everyday life. This type of sketching allows you to qualitatively depict objects-ideas, objects-concepts in the field of industrial design. Industrial (industrial) sketching is used in the work of engineers, industrial designers, decorators. Often overlaps with other types of sketching and illustration.
  
  
• Interior sketching is the creation of sketches, sketches and illustrations of the interior, interior design and interior decor. • Landscape sketching is a sketch of the design of parks, squares, garden and backyard plots. Often used in conjunction with architectural sketching. Landscape sketching is used primarily by landscape designers. How? Imagine an empty piece of land on which it is planned to build a building in the future and improve the area around. A landscape designer must be able to beautifully portray on paper for the customer how the entire area around it will look. What the entire landscape will look like, including ponds, bushes, flower beds, hedges, and so on.
  
• Lifestyle sketching is one of the varieties of sketching, somewhat similar to travel sketching, since the task of the illustrator is to depict various objects of everyday "style". These can be various wardrobe items, fashion accessories, gadgets, and so on. This type of sketching is very extensive and can include all other types of sketching.
  Fashion illustration is the creation of sketches of clothes, shoes, suits, accessories for the fashion industry. Usually this is a drawing of a human figure and face. This type of sketching refers to fashion designers, stylists, image makers who need to depict the color scheme and texture of materials, the type of model (hairstyle, makeup), shoes, accessories, headwear (bags, glasses, belts). Such illustrations are often used for fashion magazines, in fashion campaigns.
• Sketch portrait - can also be attributed to sketch illustration. This type of sketching is quite advanced and interesting. The materials used are markers, pencils, watercolors and others. Some illustrators stylize their work in pop art style or draw people with exaggerated big eyes.
