We visited quite a few parks on our eight days holiday to Kiev and I would say that Mariinsky Park was probably the prettiest and most probably the most beautiful we visited but that's just my opinion. Walking through this park there were some very interesting statues and monuments, particularly impressive was Monument To The October Revolution, Monument To Participants Of The January Uprising, Nikolai Vatutin Statue,Headstone At Andrie Ivanovs Grave,Blossom Chestnuts Monument and the various fountains and cool architecture that surround this beautiful park makes it a great place to visit, we were here on a Tuesday morning ,this park was busy ,although it was a freezing cold morning it was lovely strolling through the park,we got a cappuccino coffee from Yellow Cup Coffee Stand, these were served steaming hot ,we sat on one of the benches and planned out the day ahead in this vibrant city while sipping our coffee's. A beautiful park, most definitely well worth checking out if your planning a trip to Kiev.

In spring it's got great flower gardens. In summer the big trees give wonderful shade & tower above you. Inside the park you can't hear the noise from the street, so it's peaceful. You can sit & watch Ukrainians strolling around in their expensive clothes. It's on a hill, so there's a great view of the river Dnieper & Kiev suburbs below you. You won't regret spending an hour there. Often there are demonstrations beside the park which are also interesting to watch!

Nice huge park in the city center... nothing really special, a little bit outdated. It feels like in the forest where I was last week on my military tour. While eating my tasty military food I was watching the same trees and plants around. The location is more convenient though.
