When known as Shifu, it was possible to order both sushi and pizza; now rebranded as Sushi Master, not surprisingly, exclusive focus is on sushi. The pizza is gone. Maybe a good thing actually as they frequently messed up my orders giving me olives when I expressly stated to not include them and, annoyingly, this had happened several times; the last time I brought back the pizza and insisted on a new pizza without olives. Anyway that is history.As for the sushi, at least the nigiri, I would have to rate Sushi Master as excellent; perhaps, in Sumy, only Sushi Kilogram is better. It is certainly better than Yappi, which has decreased the size of the sushi while raising prices, and the newly opened take away venue on Kharkovskaya near to and with the same owners as Sazhe.As is the case in all sushi outlets in Sumy, the assortment of sushi is limited to: tuna, shrimp, eel, salmon and smoked salmon. I ordered only the shrimp, eel and salmon.Strictly take away or delivery options - no sit down table service.Each nigiri order consists of two pieces. Not cheap but very reasonable given the quality and the size of each piece.Effectively closes at 930pm. Way too early. Opens at 10am. Who wants sushi at 10am? I would recommend that the hour be changed from 1130am to 1130pm with last order taken at 11pm with a mid-day break from 3-5pm.The location indicated on the tripadvisor map is incorrect; Sushi master is midway between Manufaktura and Kharkovskya-12. Tripadvisor has carelessly mixed up the true location with that of Shaffron Hotel and Restaurant Complex.

An unusual example of an outlet that has improved in terms of taste of food and the variety of items on offer since opening a few months back. Sushi is tastier and the pieces are larger at a price significantly cheaper than at Yappi. In addition, Shifu has added three types of nigiri sushi: tuna, salmon and eel. (So far no sashimi.) I have tried the salmon and eel sushi and found them to be tasty and of good quality. In addition, Shifu has pizza on offer. The pizza is excellent but it is advisable to pay for extra cheese. Shifu takes orders till 1030pm and has a delivery service but I recommend, especially for pizza, to visit Shifu and do take away, especially for pizza, as sometimes the orders get confused e.g. bacon instead of ham, without olives but get with olives, etc. Also Shifu has burgers but neither of beef nor of pork.are on offer. A few hours ago I did order a chicken burger but I have not consumed it; rather, it is sitting in my frig. Note, however, that, in this venue, there are no tables and there is accordingly no possibility to dine in
