How can ex-pat parents help their teens do everyday things when you move them to a place they don’t speak the language? The Teen Survival Russian Course was our solution. The team at the Language Lab put together a fun, inclusive and smart curriculum that helped our teen daughter gain confidence to move around Kyiv. I will never forget after two classes her saying she wanted ice cream, and I said: “Sure if you can order it yourself.” This was the first of many examples of her taking charge of situations. I think this is a great way to introduce your teen to Ukraine, the culture and help them find their footing.

I highly recommend LanguageLab! My teenage son had taken Russian at school for 3 years but it was not until he participated in the Survival Kyiv program that he really started feeling comfortable speaking. The program was designed perfectly for teens, he looked forward to going each day and really enjoyed it, which says a lot from a teenage boy! He has continued with a small group class for the past year. The classes are well organized, and the teacher really knows how to reach a teenage audience. They have learned not only grammar and vocabulary but also slang and computer gaming vocabulary. If you want to learn Russian or Ukrainian, Language Lab is absolutely the best!

Language Lab is a well organized language school. My teacher is Vika and she's excellent. Her lessons are structured and well prepared and I'm having lots of fun learning Russian with her! It's my best experience with language teachers so far. I highly recommend it!
