I visited the Kyiv in Miniature Museum in December right at the opening time, which meant I had the place to myself. It actually has miniatures of locations around Ukraine and (at the time of my visit) an area dedicated to locations from Bali. The miniature scale allows you to make some cool/funny photos. On the day that I visited, I got to watch the resident staff constructing new miniature replicas in the on site workshop which was very interesting. If you’ve just arrived to Ukraine and want to know many of the country’s “must see” sights, you could definitely use this museum to put an itinerary together.

It is an unusual museum with miniature buildings of the city and more. It is located in a beautiful area next to the river. A nice place to go but not a priority. Better for kids.

the miniature museum is located in Hydropark; so, you can spend time at the beach also. This was amazing- you could get an idea of places you want to visit after seeing the structures at this museum. They have miniatures of cathedrals and monasteries, monuments, squares, architecture, universities, palaces, bridges, etc. that are located in Kiev, Crimea, Lviv, Odessa, Donetsk, Chernihiv, Chernivtsi, Boryspil, and Kharkiv. They also have a few miniatures from Indonesia if you're into Southeast Asia, but Ukraine's structures are what you'll want to see. For you non-Slavic speakers, descriptions are written in English also.

Way too expensive for what it is. Buildings are not in good condition. Some of them were missing. Wasted time and money.
