A visit to the Vinnytsia Regional Lore Museum is a great way to learn about the history of Vinnytsia and the surrounding region. For westerners: this is a mix between what we’d call a natural history museum and a cultural history museum. The end result is a total picture of the Vinnytsia Oblast (e.g. state/province). If you don’t speak the language, it would be to get an interpreter/guide so you can fully appreciate exhibits. My personal favorites were some of the historical objects from around the turn of the 20th century and some of the interpretive displays about early history/settlement.Definitely worth a visit if you have more than a day in Vinnytsia!

this is a small museum, but contains a lot of items, history. dating from early settling to present days. I enjoyed the layout and information on each topic. a good overview of Wars with equipment, uniforms. this is self guide tour, but staff is available at or near each display. worthwhile to visit, takes about an hour.
