Городской пляж Отрада

Best part of the Odessa beach area that can be reached from the city centre by walking. The beach is clean and there is a lot of space, but keep in mind that renting beds or tents is quite expensive (>300 UAH). We did not visit any cafe there

I went to this total scam place with two women I recently met in Odessa. Menus were given and I trusted the women to order some drinks and food for us. I should have looked at the prices, but not knowing Russian I assumed they would be reasonable for the area. I've dined at other spots along this beach before and the prices were quite reasonable, so safe to assume they would be also at Bright on Beach. But NO! When the bill arrived it was $800!!! And this is for three people. Like another reviewer here who describes a similar experience with this place, the price I was charged had to be at least five times higher than normal. And what can you do but complain bitterly then pay the bill? Those were the prices presented on the inflated tourist menu, which, unfortunately, I didn't check before letting the women order. I had just met them and should not have been so trusting. And what did they get besides a nice meal at the beach? It's easy to speculate that they could have gone back to this place later and collected a fee for having lured me there. The inflated tourist menu thing is a worldwide scam that's been around forever. I hope this review will cause tourists to steer clear of Bright on Beach. They are thieves and should not be rewarded. Rather, in a just world they would go out of business!!!

Una buona spiaggia, facile da raggiungere, pulita e non molto affollata. Mare pulito. Puo' andare bene

Most beautiful beach in Odessa. Clear watter, few peopel, boat, yacht rental. Near the wellness trail. Beautiful landscape.
