This review pertains to the Yapona Hata on Rynok Square, 27. (According to the restaurant website, there are four Yapona Hata venues in Lviv.)For myself I strictly ordered nigiri sushi. Ordered 10 salmon (ordinary, not smoked), 6 red snapper (krasniy okun), 4 calimari, 6 eel and 6 scallop. Devoured in 7-8 minutes, had to wait about 1/2 hour for a table (the restaurant is small) and nearly a further hour (all tables were occupied and we were last in the order queue) for receiving the meal; but the time spent was worth it. The above sushi cost 405 UAH (a bit less than $50) -- roughly $1.50/sushi. Such a meal must be regarded as excellent value for money if you don't impute too high an opportunity cost to all the time spent waiting. You could drink a Chernogovskoe Beloe (white) while you wait [by the way, avoid Chernogovskoe Svitloe (light) which is way inferior to the Chernogovskoe Beloe]. My girlfiend had the Sumashedshiy (Crazy) Drakon (87UAH) and the Philadelphia Roll (58UAH) -- both of which she enjoyed very much. She was more impatient than I in waiting for the food but drank, in compensation, more Chernogovskoe Beloe.
