キエフからのチェルノブイリツアーはいくつかありますが、こちらのツアーの集合場所（独立広場のマクドナルド横）は宿泊していたホテルの近くだったので決めました。トリップアドバイザーのサイトからネットで申し込み、あとで確認メールが来ます。当日の服装は長袖、長パンツ着用、そしてパスポートを持っていかなくてはなりません。小型バスに乗って出発。バスの中でチェルノブイリ原子力発電所の歴史、事故当時の様子、事故処理を説明するビデオを見ます。２時間ほどでチェルノブイリに到着。セキュリティチェックを受けて、ガイドさんとともに立ち入り禁止ゾーンに入り、遺棄された町などを見学します。英語でのツアーですので、もちろん英語が出来るに越したことはありませんが、前もって予習しておけば、ある程度はカバーできるかと思いますので、「英語がわからないから諦める」は、せっかくのチャンスがもったいないと思います。私自身やはりここまで足を運んで良かったと思っています。ツアーにはランチもついていて、旅行者用の食堂で頂きました。お肉はチキンか、ポーク、ベジタリアンの選択もできます。一人参加で最初心細かったですが、他にも一人で参加されている方も何人かいらっしゃいましたし、参加者の皆さんはフレンドリーな方ばかりでした。ガイドさんも往復の運転も兼ねられて大変だったと思いますが、詳しくそれぞれの場所について説明し、質問にも色々答えてくださるので、とても助かりました。ありがとうございました。

We had Alex as our guide for the day, he was very informative, spoke with passion, friendly and took safety very seriously. I had no issues with having a vegan lunch and would highly recommend travellers booking this tour. I was able to bring some pet biscuits to feed the local dogs, this is encouraged! Hopefully you will be lucky enough to have Alex as your guide too!

Did the day trip from Kiev with SoloEast travel.Our guide was Alex, he was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic.This trip far exceeded my expectations and I would recommend anyone who is thinking about doing the tour to definetly book and do it.

Any apprehension I had about visiting this site was soon calmed. Totally misinformed I had been expecting life threatening levels of radiation around the power plant still but that is not the case. Solo East were excellent throughout as was our guide Alex who was very informed and professional. As a bit of a train buff, I was really happy with the railway content featuring the so called 'Bridge of death' and Yanis station featuring a locomotive cut into three parts presumably by metal thieves after precious metals. Same story with the numerous Lada cars, buses and other vehicles seen but this does offer interesting photographic opportunities.The tour definitely gets over the upheaval the inhabitants of Pripyat and the many surrounding villages suffered and we can all hope this never happens again. Alex was instrumental in relaying the human toll to us as well as fulfilling any fascination we held to see the power plant and abandoned buildings for ourselves. I am full of admiration to the heroes of the clean-up operation.We took dog treats with us and were rewarded by well behaved strays enjoying a little appreciation. Two day tour definitely recommended to anyone interested in this tragic event. An awakening experience.

What a great adventure! Along with our awesome guide Anya and a radiation detector, we went on a discovery trip through the city of Pripyat and event 200m away from the damaged reactor (which was totally safe due to the new sarcophagus in place)! I have learned a lot of things and had a great time, so I really recommend this activity!

This was such a unique experience. Alex is a great tour guide and made this trip even better. The knowledge and information about this disaster that he provided was unheralded. Can only recommend!

Awesome trip! Great organization and the perfect guide, Tanya! She gave excellent information in clear english and showed us around Chernobyl and Pripyat. Only the wheater was really, really hot but that was not only in Chernobyl. Worth the money and worth the time!Thank you Tanya and the driver!

After searching around for hours, looking at different companies and tour types. I finally decided to book SoloEast. I'm extremely happy I booked SoloEast because our tour guide Igor was amazing. He's got a great sense of humour, takes you to some amazing places and even plays documentaries throughout the whole trip. We got plenty of photo opportunities and he demonstrates how radioactive many areas are using his geiger counter. He explains every area you stop off at very well and answered some challenging questions. His English is great and easy to understand. You don't need to carry your bag around as the longest you're walking for is around an hour or so before you head back to the van to go to the next place. There's WiFi and charging ports in the van, and our lunch was included. It's a decent lunch too. Best trip I've had yet on my travels around Europe and if you're in doubt about booking this tour, strongly consider this review and the others because it really is amazing.

We had the best trip ever with our guide Alex and our driver Alex! He was the best guide. He was very funny and had so many good stories about the place. He showed us the best hotspots and the best places. A magical day indeed with the help of the amazing Alex! What a day. Everyone who is on holiday in Kiev should go on a trip like this with Solo East. Worth all the money.

Honestly I don't know what could be better on this trip. I've been to many tours in many different countries and never had a tour that felt so well put together as this one. Together with 2 friends we booked a private day tour. Our guide Victoria was the best! The day was absolutely packed with lots of sights and interesting information. Victoria is extremely knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor! We were picked up in the morning at eight and brought back at nine in the evening. Talking about a full day tour! The tour has a great balance of walking and driving around. Of course it is a bit more expensive than a group tour but we really felt it was worth it as we were much more flexible and could visit so many places. It really felt like we were just traveling with four friends! Would 100% recommend! Thanks Victoria for the great time!

Me and my friend did a two day tour with Solo East. I can easily say that this was the best experience I've had while staying Ukraine. Our tour guide Alex spoke perfect English and was highly informed about all the events that happened in the exclusion zone. Furthermore, he also had family involved in the clean up after the disaster. We got to see a lot of places which exceeded my expectations. I would strongly recommend taking the two day tour since you have a lot more time to take in all the scenery and explore the area. Greetings from the Netherlands!

SoloEast gave us a fantastic day out, in comfortable transport with a very good driver. Solo East meet up at Independence Square and not the Train Station so ideal for those staying in town as it’s a 7.30 start.Our guide Alex was excellent tooI think everyone else makes it clear what you see on this trip so I don’t need to go over it again, but they do take your safety very seriously and look after you well on the trip
