Some reasonable looking shops & eating places., but generally quite uncomfortable place. I really didn't feel particularly safe while walking along this street.

This is main street with a lot of trees, shops, restaurants and people. If you visit Kiev you can't miss it. It's wide and especially picterious in weekends, when it's pedestrian zone.

This street is a landmark at Kiev and it can be set as a starting point for many of the tours as the metro station is right there. On the side of the streets there are many shopping stores, restaurants and cafes. A walk across the street would be very interesting

Great landmark for navigating in the city. Contains the Maidan, with the freedom monument. (An angel called "Batman" by the humoristic locals :) ) During our visit it was transformed into Euro 2012 "Fan zone", but stores, shops cafés and restaurants working as usual along the street.

It's a central street of Kiev. No traffic on day-offs. KIev livers and visitors love working tours through it, so its always crowded.

По суботам и воскресеньям, а также в праздничные дни движение для автомобилей перекрыто. Пешеходы и туристы вперёд.

It's the center boulevard. Full of shops, many department stores, the lifestyle of the city. If you visit Kiev in winter it's better you know that in that road you can find many subway's shops (the only way to stay outside during the hardest cold season). In spring you can walk and enjoy the full road until Maydan Nezalezhnosti (Independence Square)...

kievin kalbinin attığı yer. şu anda euro 2012 nedeniyle daha bir kalabalık. metro istasyonu, turist danışma ofisi, restoranlar, mağazalar gayet canlı bir cadde.

An evening stroll at Khreshcatyk is paradise. Nice people, good restaurants and orange revolution square. I like when i see teenagers dancing, some bands playing on the street. small ice cream kiosk. overall a pleasurable place where one should go if he or she is in Kiev.
Nevpadlo, Kyiv, Kyyivs'ka Oblast', Ukraine
Khreshchatyk is the central street of Kiev, which passes through three squares: European, Independence and Besarabska. By the end of the tenth century, this area was a forest thicket. In the future it has been built and destroyed. Now, along the entire street the shops, cafes and many monuments are spread. The street is completely blocked until the end of Euro 2012, as it is purely for tourist destination.
