Fractional laser resurfacing procedure is that the laser beam penetrates into the deep layers of the dermis through a special fractional grating. Thanks to her, the laser stream is divided into hundreds of small fractions (fragments), thus affecting the skin in a targeted manner and preventing excessive damage. In response to thermal laser exposure, regenerative resources are activated in the dermis and epidermis: cells are actively dividing, the concentration of elastin and collagen increases, a new muscle frame is formed, and tissue lifting is observed.
In other words, the laser beam "evaporates" the upper stratum corneum of the epidermis along with pigmentation, wrinkles, scars, and uneven relief. In parallel with this, in the dermis, it activates the synthesis of collagen and elastin, which are responsible for the firmness, elasticity and youth of the skin.

Indications for the procedure:

Procedure process:

Fractional laser face resurfacing is practically painless. If the patient is sensitive, the procedure can be performed under local anesthesia. An anesthetic cream can be applied to the selected area (its price is not included in the total cost). The doctor and the patient are wearing special protective glasses during grinding. The manipula (tip) of the laser directs the beam to the "problem" area, processes it pointwise at the specified parameters.

Rehabilitation period:

The first two days after grinding, active redness and swelling are observed on the skin. After 2-3 days, a light brown crust forms on the surface of the skin, which exfoliates on its own by 5-7 days. For the first 2-3 weeks, sunscreen with a SPF 50 or more should be used before every outdoor activity. It is recommended to exclude saunas, baths and a swimming pool for 2 weeks.

Duration of the procedure and the result:

One session of fractional laser face resurfacing lasts from 30 to 60 minutes. The effect can be assessed after the first session, but in order to achieve a visible result, some patients may need 3-6 procedures once a month.
